As part of its Agenda 2013 series, The Oregonian Editorial Board is calling on PPS to increase its focus on career technical education. According to a recent survey, 94% of Portland residents ranked strengthening career education as a priority. They note that PPS is out of step with the community on CTE as evident in their “too-low enrollment cap at Benson (Polytechnic) High”.
