Thanks to the generous support of 20 Benson alumni and 11 Business & Industry Supporters, Benson’s state-level SkillsUSA champions were able to compete at the national level this summer. Cathy Skach, Benson SkillsUSA advisor, reports that Benson was represented extremely well at the competition. The results were as follows:
- Web Design – Jorge Salazar & Derek Wong – 10th place
- Audio Radio Production – Isaiah Catabay & Schannelle Wallace – 11th place
- Nurse Assisting – Thao Ly – 17th place
- Electrical Construction Wiring – Evan Wagstaff – 23rd place
- Pin Design – Elaine Vu Pham – 27th place
