Thanks to large gains in math and reading scores, Benson’s state rating has been elevated from “Satisfactory” to “Outstanding”. The 2010-2011 school year saw a 26.7 point increase in reading scores and a 19.8 point increase in math scores. This, in addition to their above average graduation rate of 76.7% lead to the new rating.
