We Need You!
As we begin our second full year of operation, we would like to thank our 170+ members for their support. Your dues, donations and hard work have helped us:
- successfully lobby PPS on Benson's behalf in the face of the current High School Redesign Project
- hold several long term development workshops with business and civic leaders, alumni and students
- greatly increase our presence at Tech Show, providing a festive and inviting atmosphere for alumni to reconnect in the old gym
- sponsor two clean-up days to improve the school grounds
- become a reliable clearinghouse for news of class reunions and current Benson happenings
- generate a sizable contact database to improve communication between classes
- take on the management of the established Benson Reunion Scholarship Fund, which awarded over $4,200 in scholarships this past spring
Please consider a 2010 BPHSAA Membership. Your tax deductible dues of $12 will allow us to continue our important work in the coming year. You can pay online using the "Pay Now" button on the right. You may also mail your payment to the address listed on our contact page.
2009 Scholarship Fund Drive
The Benson Reunion Scholarship Fund has provided 45 scholarships since its inception in 1991. Last year, 3 deserving seniors received over $4,200 in combined scholarship funds.

Welcome!
You've found the online home for the Benson Polytechnic High School Alumni Association of Portland, Oregon. We are a group of former Benson students and staff that have come together to actively support and enhance Benson's long running technical programs.
Please take time to register with our site. Registration is free. Once registered, you will join a broad community of Benson Alumni and friends who are dedicated to giving today's Benson students the same great technical education that we all received. We pledge to not share your information with anyone outside of the BPHSAA.
